Subject: Re: question about Pobox services [PTN.20020114.0051R]

As the last message stated, the MAPS checks are applied when
our servers recieve a request from another server to being
an email transaction, delivering mail to a Pobox user via
one of our mail servers. At that time, the MAPS database is
checked -- this occurs prior to identifying for what user
the message arrives or taking any other steps in processing
the message. If the IP address is blacklisted, we will not
accept the message.

Since this occurs at the server level and before any
processing it done, it is done independently of the
account's settings -- it protects our servers from being
abused (rather than spam filters, which act to prevent mail
that's already been received from reaching your forwarding
address, or to at least tag it).

As such, any message being sent to a Pobox user cannot be
accepted if the IP address is blacklisted.

En principio creo que tienen razón en su comportamiento.
Ahora bien el tema sería ver como presionar a Terra/Telefonica a
acceptar correo de sus usuarios que usan direcciones email que no
son "suyas".
