My latest Postfix 2.0.6 RPMs are now available for Red Hat 6.x/7.2/7.3/8.

The Source RPM should also build on Red Hat 5.x-8.0, Yellowdog 2.3,
Mandrake, and perhaps other RPM distributions. When building from the
source package several different options can be included.

Changes since previous version:
-------------------------------

- It has been pointed out on the postfix-users mailing list upgrades
from old versions of my package may cause "strange behaviour".

Before adding support for the RedHat alternatives package at around
Postfix 1.1.10 the package used mailq_path, newaliases_path and
sendmail_path pointing directly to the binaries /usr/bin/mailq,
  /usr/bin/newaliases and /usr/sbin/sendmail respectively.
RedHat alternates uses these files as links to the real binaries
of the configured MTA, which may or may not be Postfix. Hence from
the moment of supporting alternatives the postfix binaries had the names
with a .postfix suffix. This was normally transparent to the user.

Upgrading an pre-alternatives version of my package to a new version did
not update these values leaving them potentially pointing to the
equivalent commands of another MTA (which could be very confusing).

  This has now been corrected.

Thus I would advise people using my packages who have used them for some
time to manually check the above paths or to upgrade to the latest
  binary.
