My latest Postfix 2.0.10 RPMs are now available for
Red Hat 6.x, 7.2, 7.3, 8.0 and 9.
The Source RPM should also build on Red Hat 5.x, Mandrake, Yellowdog and
perhaps other RPM distributions. When building from the source package
several different options can also be included.
Changes since previous version:
-------------------------------
- change %{buildroot} macro back to ${RPM_BUILD_ROOT} as this is RH's
preferred method for defining the buildroot.
- for maximum compatibility add back install -c option
- failed application of gzipped patches might not be seen by rpm -
fixed
- tidyup pathnames, removing for commands in /sbin and /bin
- with help from Gerry Reno <grenoml at yahoo.com>
- add support for the following patches:
- POSTFIX_PROXY_READ_MAPS proxy_read_maps patch
- POSTFIX_MYSQL_DICT_REG mysql: dict_register patch
- add support for locally installed MySQL in POSTFIX_MYSQL_PATHS
- PGSQL_README now in README_FILES directory
- update to 2.0.10-1
- changes in MYSQL support
- new POSTFIX_XXX variables used by make-postfix.spec
POSTFIX_MYSQL=1 (for MySQL RPM support)
POSTFIX_MYSQL_REDHAT=1 (for RedHat MySQL RPM support)
POSTFIX_MYSQL_PATHS=/include/path:/lib/path (to support non-RPM
MySQL installations)
Some of these changes are cosmetic only, others only really affect you if
you build Postfix with MySQL, or Postgres support
