[postfix-es] postfix 2.0.6 y autentificacion SMTP SOS. URGENTE. estoy desesperado

Este problema me es muy urgente el soluc8ionarlo ya que tengo que instalar
un servidor con autenticacion SMTP para este viernes .
hasta ahora trabajaba con una version anterior de postfix y no tenia
problemas, pero esta ujltima SuSE 8.2 trae la version 2.0.6 y de ahí mis
problemas.

el archivo que os adjunto es la salida para el comando postconf (tambien os
lo escribo abajo, aunque es largo).

tengo el el directorio /etc/postfix un archivo llamado sasl_passwd en el que
he puesto:
dominio.com usuario:passwd

por otra parte en el archivo /usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf tengo:
pwcheck_method: saslauth
mech_list: plain login

pero no me anda me da el sigueinte error el el /var/log/mail:
